Evening Slideshow and talk with Lyndon Allen, a well known local Maritime historian on board Lady Daphne in Charlestown Harbour.
Talk will be held in the Main Cargo Hold that carried China Clay from this very Harbour 1923-37. Bar opens 18:30, Talks start at 19:00

Lyndon has spent 40 years as part of the local Fishing industry, but now spends his days running Local history tours and has written two books Charlestown, Time and Tide and Batten down the Hatches
Licensed Bar available on-board during the evening. Come and immerse yourself in some Charlestown History in a unique Venue.
Please be aware that Lady Daphne is an adapted early 20th Century cargo barge and those aboard are requested to exercise a higher degree of responsibility for their own safety, including hazards such as low ceilings, steep staircases, slippery decks (if wet or icy) etc, and many multi level trip hazards, both on and below deck.

Whilst we try to accommodate all ages and abilities, please note, there is no wheelchair access and some element of difficulty on board for those with restricted mobility.
And we do ask that you respect the boat as she is an historic and antique sailing barge, one of few remaining in service today.
